The case in question is related to the cancellation of the Jamabandi created illegally in the Revenue Register II in the name of the opponent Gurumukh Das, Pakur, for the area of ​​01B0-140-16dhur land under Dag No. 539 of Mauja-Malpahari of Pakur region. The then learned Sub-Divisional Officer, Pakur, in the order passed on 24.11.2000 in the STATE R&D Case No. 21/98-99, recommended cancellation of the Jamabandi in question. Notice was issued to the concerned party to present his case in support of his claim. After receiving the notice, the opponent/successor appeared but he did not file any paper/document in support of his claim. The service report of the final notice is received. This case is pending for a long time and till date neither show cause notice has been filed by the opponent nor any paper/document has been filed in support of the claim. From the perusal of the registered mining lease document available on record, it appears that the mining lease for stone mining on the land of the Dag in question was given for 10 years. It is necessary to cancel it in the interest of the government. Therefore, on the basis of the above discussion, an order is given to cancel the jamabandi created in the Revenue Register-II in the name of the opponent Gurumukh Das Pakur. The Zonal Officer, Pakur is ordered to cancel the illegal Jamabandi in question within a week and take it into government possession and submit a report in this regard to the court. The proceedings of the case are terminated.
