The case in question is related to the cancellation of the Jamabandi created illegally in the Revenue Register II in the name of the opponent Anil Kumar, Pakur, for the land of Squa-01B-060-00Dhur under Jamabandi No. 45/32, Dag No. 321 of Mauja Khapadajola of Pakur region. The then learned Sub-Divisional Officer, Pakur, in the order passed on 24.11.2000 in the STATE R.V. Case No. 100/98-99, recommended cancellation of the Jamabandi in question. Notice was issued to the concerned party to present his case in support of his claim. After receiving the notice, the opponent/heirs appeared but they did not file any paper/document in support of their claim. The service report of the final notice is received. This case is pending for a long time and till date the opponent has neither filed a show cause notice nor has filed any paper/document in support of the claim. It is not clear from the documents available on record that the Jamabandi has been validly created in the Revenue Register II. The entire record was observed and studied. The land in question is government land of Anabadi account. It is not clear on what valid basis the Jamabandi of the land in question has been created in the name of the opponent. From the observation of the entire record, it appears clear that the Jamabandi created in the Revenue Register II in the name of the opponent is absolutely illegal. It is necessary to cancel it in the interest of the government. Therefore, on the basis of the above discussion, an order is given to cancel the jamabandi created in the revenue register II in the name of the opponent Anil Kumar, Pakur. The proceedings of the case are terminated.
